The pipe band led Santa's sleigh, panto dames and a parade of children carrying decorated umbrellas. The parade started at the railway station, worked its way along Bridge Street and into the market square. The band played a few sets in the market square.

Despite the dull, damp weather, there was an excellent turnout of townsfolk to support the day's events
