A large crowd saw he games'  Chieftain: HRH Prince Charles Duke of Rothesay  piped onto the field by the pipe band.

After entertaining the prince with a number of sets, the band marched off the field, only to return about 10 minutes later to participate in the Tug-o'-war against Forss.

It was quite an unusual site to see 8 kilted members of a pipe band line up against a trained and seasoned tug-o'-war team.

It was good entertainment and the crowd cheered on the band as the put up an excellent challenge to the Forss team.
