Castle Sinclair & Girnigoe

After seven years of excavation, preservation and consolidation of stonework, Viscount Thurso MP, a trustee of the Clan Sinclair Trust, officially opened the castle on 1st August during the International Clan Sinclair Gathering.

The Wick RBLS Pipe Band welcomed the members of the Clan Sinclair to the opening ceremony.

The Scottish folk singer & TV personality Isla St Clair was present and sang a few songs.
