The Diamond Jubilee Harbourfest

As part of the Queens Diamond  Jubilee celebrations, Wick crowned its own  honorary Queen  to mark the occasion.

The band led the court procession from the pipe band hall to the Market square where the Harbourfest Monarch, Abigail Jolly, was crowned by the Lord Lieutenant of Caithness Ms Ann Dunnet.

The royal procession also included a company of sea cadets and a sea cadet band.

After the crowning ceremony the queen and her court, led by the pipe band, went along to the Jubilee Harbourfest event at the Wick Harbour, where she opened the event.
